The Interviews
An HR representative will call and arrange a personal interview with qualified applicants. Often, you will have the chance to meet other team members at the time of your interview.
During your interview, we will explain more about the position you applied for, our benefits, our culture and our commitment to service excellence. You will also have an opportunity to ask questions about Lancaster General Hospital, the department and the position.
The next step in the process is a a patterned behavioral interview.
Because we are committed to finding the best match for each position, we also complete background checks including references, criminal background check and, for certain positions, a credit check. After an offer has been made, you will have a physical exam and a drug screening.
The Offer
If we are able to offer you a position, the HR Consultant who has been working with you will contact you with details. If you accept our offer, you will then receive a letter that will explain your first two days on the job.
Welcome to Our Family
Our orientation process begins with a full day spent with other Lancaster General new employees who are also learning about our health system, core values, mission, vision and customer service initiatives. You will get to meet some of our executives and managers while having some fun in the process.
