I chose to pursue my career at Lancaster General Health because of its outstanding reputation and because Lancaster County is a great place to raise a family. Eighteen years later, I’m confident I made the right choice.

My career started at Lancaster General Hospital as Director of Critical Care Nursing. Thanks to a great team of people who motivated and mentored me, I have been able to grow professionally and now serve as the Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of the Lancaster General Health system.

I feel fortunate to work with such an amazing team. They have inspired me to see new possibilities and have given me the courage to take risks and strive to be a better person. Every day, I see or hear a story about how a member of our team provided an extraordinary experience for a colleague, patient or a patient’s family member. These stories keep me focused on the Lancaster General Health Vision – to create an extraordinary experience … every time, and they inspire me to seek new ways we can meet patient needs in a way that dignifies each individual.
